Ingredients:

  • One cup of sugar (granulated)
  • Approximately one cup of water
  • One cup of lemon peel (cut in stripe)
  • One cup of lemon juice (opt for freshly squeeze)
  • Half a cup of fresh strawberry puree (you can also use frozen)
  • Half a cup of fresh raspberry puree ((you can also use frozen)
  • Two cups of water (you can also use club soda instead of water)

Directions:

  1. At first, take a medium-size saucepan or skillet. Turn on the heat of the stove. Make sure the heat of the cooking range is up to medium. Now, in the pan, add one cup of water. After that, add sugar to the water.
  2. Take a spatula and keep stirring the mixer of sugar and water. Keep whisking the mixture and bring it to a simmer. You need to whisk the sugar until it becomes dissolved.

  5. Take a large pitcher. Now, place a sieve or strainer onto the pitcher.
  6. Pour the lemon syrup through the strainer into the pitcher. After that, pour the lemon juice through the sieve. Next, you need to pour raspberry and strawberry puree.
  7. Now take a spoon and press the pulp in the strainer. After that, mix the liquids with a spoon. It will help to mix all the juices.
  8. Put the pitcher into the refrigerator.
  9. It is up to you how long you want to keep it in the fridge.
  10. At the time of serving, pour the liquid into tall glasses.
  11. Top the glasses with crushed ice.
  12. For extra garnishing, you can add a peel of a lemon or a piece of strawberry on the glass.
  13. Serve the drink chilled.
