A Practical Recipe to Easily Make Lunch Meat Sandwich Wrap

1. Ingredients:

  • One pound of ground beef
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Two and a half teaspoons red pepper
  • One and a half teaspoons cumin
  • Half teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Two tablespoons of water
  • Fifteen ounces of canned black beans (rinsed and drained)
  • One cup of corn
  • One green onion (chopped)
  • Half red bell pepper (chopped)
  • One cup of cooked rice
  • One and a half cups of cheddar cheese
  • Eight tortillas
  • Half cup of sour cream

2. Directions:

  • Take a large skillet and place it over a stove on medium heat.
  • Throw the beef in the skillet and cook. Crumble the meat and cook until it turns brown. Drain the grease from the ground beef.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper in the skillet. Add cumin, chili powder, water, and garlic powder to the beef.
  • Stir to combine the ingredients.
  • Now, add corn and black beans to the skillet.
  • Mix and sauté for three more minutes.
  • Take the cooked rice. Make sure it’s warm.
  • Reheat the rice if they are cold.
  • It is time to make the wrap. Gather all ingredients.
  • Place a tortilla. Now pour a handful of cheese on the tortilla. Make sure you spread the cheese evenly.
  • Now place a scoop of rice on top of the cheese. Next, push down the rice so that it covers the entire tortilla.
  • Add a few tablespoons of sour cream to the top of the rice. Next, add the beef filling.
  • Now roll up the tortilla, fold sides like a burrito while starting from the end.
  • Now heat the skillet and add some oil to it. You can also use cooking spray.
  • Place the wrap and brush it with oil.
  • Heat the tortilla. Make sure you cook both sides of the wrap.
  • Turn off the heat when the wraps become golden. Cut the wrap in half.
  • Serve the meat wraps with salsa.

3. Recipe Notes:

  • You can use Greek yogurt if you do not like sour cream.
  • You can add other veggies like spinach and broccoli to your wrap.
