Ingredients:
- Water – 2 tbsp
- Caster sugar – 150 g
- Frozen berries – 450 g
- White bread – 100 to 150 g
- Whipped cream or custard – 2 cups
Instructions:
- Take a saucepan, add water and sugar in it at medium flame. Mix these ingredients and allow this mixture to boil for a few minutes.
- Add all the frozen berries in this sugar mixture except strawberries. Boil the berries for a few seconds.
- When the berries become softened, turn off the flame and let this mixture cool at room temperature.
- Cut the bread slices into half and then cut each half into two triangles. Now use the bread triangles to line a pint/700mL pudding.
- Begin by lining the pudding bowl using plastic wrap. Soak the bread triangles in the prepared berries sugar syrup and lay them at the base of the pudding bowl.
- Keep on lining the bowl in the same manner. Make sure there are no breaks while lining with the bread.
