Iced caramel macchiato:

In this recipe, we will add coconut syrup as well to give more creamy and rich flavors.
Coconut simple syrup ingredients:
  • 1 tsp coconut extract
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water

Iced caramel macchiato ingredients

  • ½ oz coconut syrup
  • ½ oz caramel sauce
  • 4 oz coconut milk
  • 3 oz boiling water
  • 1 tsp instant espresso granules
  • Whipped cream
  • 4-5 ice cubes’
  • Additional caramel sauce (garnish)
  • Toasted coconut flakes (garnish)

Recipe:

Coconut syrup:

Take a saucepan and combine water and sugar over medium- high heat. Stir continuously till sugar dissolves. Boil it 3 minutes and remove pan from heat. Stir in the coconut extract and set it down.

Iced caramel macchiato:

  1. Take a small bowl and add espresso granules. After, add boiling water in your small bowl. You need to stir until the espresso combined completely in water. Then set the mixture aside.
  2. Then take 8-12 ounce glass or jar to combine the drink. Firstly add ice cubes in the glass or jar.
  3. The next step, pour slowly the caramel sauce into glass or jar over the ice cubes, followed by the coconut simple syrup which you made.
  4. Then pour coconut milk into the glass slowly, followed by the hot espresso.
  5. Stick a paper and add straw into you drink glass. Serve the cold, refreshing and creamy drink immediately. You can garnish your drink as the way you like. You can do with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and roasted coconut flakes just before serving.
